HealthLink

HealthLinking is a software for the management of medical data that arose as an initiative of a project at the end of the 1st quarter of DAM. The objective of the project was to carry out our first OOP program.

Medical professionals working in health centers face the daily challenge of managing the personal and medical data of the patients they care for. This data is essential to delivering quality healthcare, but it also poses a responsibility and a challenge in terms of its storage, protection and access.

To facilitate this task, I have created 'HealthLink', a software intended for medical professionals in health centers. Its purpose is to record the personal and medical data of patients and to access that medical data whenever necessary, simply by entering the patient's identification number. In this way, there will be a medical control of the patients as well as a database that is also capable of storing the date and time of all the appointments made in a consultation.

How does HealthLink work?

HealthLink is an easy and intuitive software that adapts to the basic needs of health centers. Its operation is based on the following steps:

  • Registration : The medical professional enters the patient's personal and medical data into the system through a simple and secure interface. These data are associated with the patient's identification number, which can be their ID.
  • Access : The medical professional accesses the patient's medical data by entering her identification number in the system. In this way you can see all the relevant information about the patient's clinical history as well as the appointments made or pending in your practice.
  • Update : The medical professional can modify or add new data about the patient each time she attends him or performs a test or intervention. These changes are automatically reflected in the database to keep it up to date
